Castrol Alphasyn T range is based on polyalpha-olefin (PAO) fluids and anti-wear additive technology to provide outstanding thermal stability and good load carrying capacity. Designed for use in bearings, circulatory systems and moderately-loaded slow moving gear systems operating at variable temperatures. Alphasyn T should not be used for heavy / shock loaded systems.

Castrol Tribol 1100 gear oils combine high quality petroleum base oils with the latest developments in the field of surface improving additives designated TGOA. The oil-soluble additive package equalizes surface roughness on interacting surfaces to prevent running-in pitting and reduce friction. It helps extended gear life in heavily loaded gearboxes subject to shock loading.

The Castrol Alphasyn PG gear oil range of synthetic lubricants is based on poly alkylene glycol (PAG) fluids enhanced with antioxidants, rust inhibitors and extreme pressure (EP) additives of high thermal stability.

The Castrol Alphasyn EP gear oil range is based on polyalpha-olefin (PAO) fluids and Extreme Pressure (EP) additive technology to provide thermal stability and high load carrying capacity. Suitable for use in all types of enclosed gears including heavy loaded / shock loaded gears and bearings exposed to extreme environments where EP properties are required.

The Hyspin VG range of hydraulic oils is based on highly refined mineral oil enhanced with rust and oxidation inhibitors. It is designed for use in hydraulic systems that do not require anti-wear performance but where rust and oxidation resistance is desirable and is also suitable for pumps with silver-plated components.

Castrol Hyspin AWS high viscosity hydraulic oil is suitable for use in spur, bevel or worm gearboxes operating at high speeds with light loads. It is based on highly refined mineral oil enhanced with stabilized zinc containing anti-wear system. It protects ferrous and yellow metal components found within a hydraulic system from corrosion

Castrol Cresta pure mineral oils are designed for gas compressors, cylinder lubrication and worm gearboxes and are suitable for heavily loaded slow moving bearings and gears, where a demulsifiable oil is required.

Cresta SHS is formulated from selected base cylinder stocks to achieve the desirable characteristics of high flash point and oxidation stability. It does not materially reduce the demulsibility of the crankcase oil when lubricating cylinders in high speed, totally enclosed steam engines.

Alpha SP gear oils prevent scuffing in heavily loaded applications and are particularly suitable for use in spur or worm gearboxes having either oil bath or forced circulation lubrication. They can also be used in bevel, spiral and planetary gearboxes, pump bearings and crankcases for high pressure mud or cement pumps.
