Castrol VECTON® LONG DRAIN 15W-40 CK-4/E9 with unique System Pro Technology™ is an advanced heavy duty diesel engine oil with synthetic technology that is specifically engineered to deliver longer useful oil life. It is suitable for use in high speed diesel engines that use a broad range of fuel qualities. It is compatible with diesel engines fitted with an EGR. It is also compatible with the latest exhaust after treatment systems such as; DPF, DOC and/or SCR.


Castrol VECTON Long Drain 15W-40 CK-4/E9 is specifically engineered and tested for extended drains up to 120,000 kms*. Castrol VECTON Long Drain’s System Pro Technology™ has an extra performance reserve that fights oil breakdown by:

  • Combating oxidation and deposits
  • Neutralising harmful acids
  • Controlling oil aeration
  • Also adapting to increased temperatures while resisting viscosity loss through shear. 

 

All of this means longer useful oil life, giving you the confidence in your maximum drain interval.

Actual oil drain depends on engine type, operation conditions, service history, on-board diagnostics and fuel quality. Recommend to use a suitable oil monitoring program. Loads and speeds must not exceed the truck limit. For recommended truck limits and Oil Drain Interval, please refer to OEM service manual.
