Castrol TRANSMAX Axle AP 85W-140
Replaces Castrol Axle AP 85W-140 and Hypogear 85W-140
Castrol TRANSMAX Axle AP 85W-140 is a multipurpose gear oil for use in most trucks, LCV, and Passenger cars' conventional differentials, non-synchronized manual transmissions, and steering gears where API GL-5 performance is required. It is not recommended for Eaton, Spicer, Renault, or Rockwell transmissions as those manufacturers prefer non-EP transmission oils.

Replaces Castrol Axle EPX 85W-140
Castrol TRANSMAX Axle EPX 85W-140 is a multipurpose axle oil which may be used in differentials, final drives and other applications in passenger cars and commercial vehicles where API GL-5 performance is required. It is approved by ZF for use in a range of commercial applications including axles in off-road and agricultural equipment.

TRANSMAX Manual Heavy Duty 75W-90 is approved against Volvo's most demanding Heavy Duty Manual Transmission specification, enabling extended oil drain intervals (400,000 kms) in severe duty manual and automated manual (i-Shift) transmission applications. It is also suitable for use in manual transmissions of cars or light commercial vehicles where GL-4 oils are recommended.

It may be used in synchronised manual transmissions and final drives/differentials of a wide range of vehicles (commercial vehicles, construction equipment) where API GL-4 or API GL-5 fluids are required. It carries a number of OEM approvals.

Castrol TRANSMAX Manual Z Long Life 75W-80 is a full synthetic SAE 75W-80 fluid developed specifically to meet ZF extended drain interval requirements (540,000 km). It is approved for use in all ZF commercial manual and automated manual transmissions. It can be recommended in other manual transmissions requiring API GL-4 and is particularly suitable for severe applications where loads and temperatures are higher.
