TRANSMAX Axle EPX 80W-90
Castrol TRANSMAX Axle EPX 80W-90 is a multipurpose axle oil which may be used in differentials, final drives and other applications in passenger cars and commercial vehicles where API GL-5 performance is required.
Application
Approved by MAN and ZF for use in a range of commercial applications including axles in off-road and agricultural equipment.

TRANSMAX Axle EPX 85W-140
Castrol TRANSMAX Axle EPX 85W-140 is a multipurpose axle oil which may be used in differentials, final drives and other applications in passenger cars and commercial vehicles where API GL-5 performance is required. It is approved by ZF for use in a range of commercial applications including axles in off-road and agricultural equipment.
Application
Recommended for use in differentials, gear boxes and steering gears of cars. Castrol TRANSMAX Axle EPX 85W-140 should be considered for use over the lighter Castrol TRANSMAX Axle EPX 80W-90 when ambient temperatures are high (in the vicinity of 30C or above).

TRANSMAX Limited Slip 80W-90
Castrol TRANSMAX Limited Slip 80W-90 is a mineral gear oil that is suitable for use in limited slip differentials in cars and commercial vehicles where API GL-5 oils with specific limited slip friction performance is required. It can also be used in conventional differentials.
Application
Primarily recommended for use in limited slip differentials fitted to a wide range of Australian, American, Japanese, British and European vehicles.

TRANSMAX Limited Slip 80W-140
Castrol TRANSMAX Limited Slip 80W-140 is a full synthetic rear axle fluid designed to provide protection at the extremes of low and high operating temperatures. It is recommended for competition, severe duty and long drain applications. It may be used in both limited slip and non limited slip differentials. Applications include Holden V8 rear axles, trucks operating in severe service where high temperatures in differentials and power dividers are encountered, and competition vehicles e.g., Group A, sports sedans, Formula Holden and Rally cars.
Application
For many limited slip differential applications. Primarily intended for use in rear Axles of Ford Falcon and Holden Commodore high performance models.

Castrol TRANSMAX Axle Long Life 75W-90
Castrol TRANSMAX Axle Long Life 75W-90, formulated with Smooth Drive TechnologyTM, is a full synthetic rear axle fluid. It provides superior protection, especially when driving under stop-start or extreme conditions e.g. towing. This enables smoother axle operation and noise reduction, resulting in a more comfortable drive throughout the lifetime of the vehicle.
Application
Specially designed and approved by BMW for use in all BMW final drives fitted with conventional (non limited slip) differentials. It is Castrol's prime recommendation for final drives in heavy commercial vehicles, and is approved by MAN and ZF.

Description
Castrol TRANSMAX Axle Long Life 75W-140 is a full synthetic final drive lubricant that is suitable for use in axles and final drives in commercial vehicles and passenger cars where API GL-5 performance is required. It is included in the Scania High Performance product list and is approved against Scania STO 2:0A.

It may be used in synchronised manual transmissions and final drives/differentials of a wide range of vehicles (commercial vehicle, construction equipment) where API GL-4 or API GL-5 fluids are required. It carries a number of OEM approvals.

TRANSMAX Axle AP 85W-140
Castrol TRANSMAX Axle AP 85W-140 is a multipurpose gear oil for use in most trucks, LCV, and Passenger cars' conventional differentials, non-synchronized manual transmissions, and steering gears where API GL-5 performance is required. It is not recommended for Eaton, Spicer, Renault, or Rockwell transmissions as those manufacturers prefer non-EP transmission oils.

Castrol TRANSMAX Dynadrive Long Life 80W-90 is a part-synthetic SAE 80W-90 gear oil specifically developed to meet all the gear oil requirements for both manual transmissions and final drives. The unique additive system provides the extreme pressure protection needed in heavy-duty differentials, as well as the frictional properties required for smooth shifting synchromesh manual transmissions.
