Castrol careclean lime

Water based, heavy-duty hand cleaner with a pleasant lime fragrance developed to remove a range of soils and provide excellent skincare and conditioning.

Well suited to a range of industries where it is a very effective hand cleaner for the removal of a wide range of soils including grease, grime, soot, ink and many other contaminants. Ideal for manufacturing, rural and handyman applications.

Castrol MOP S

Effective oil and liquid absorbent based on a granular inert diatomaceous earth sourced in Australia. 

Industry uses include absorption requirement in garages, workshops, tanneries, packaging, oil/paint stores, lift wells, mastic floors. Can also be used in pattern making and floor ash trays.

Domestic uses include pet trays, oil drip trays, organic gardens, snail deterrent, potting, laundry, garbage bin, cellars and aquariums.

Castrol TECHNICLEAN MTC 43

Castrol Techniclean™ MTC 43 is a liquid, mildly alkaline, medium to heavy duty machine tool and system cleaner,
based upon powerful low foaming surfactants, emulsifiers and anti-microbiological agents.

Application

Techniclean MTC 43 has been specifically formulated to deal with a wide variety of machine tool and system contaminants including fatty build-up in pipelines and floor ducts. Techniclean MTC 43 is easy to use with minimum disruption to production, being added directly to the coolant system whilst still in operation. Floating tramp oil is emulsified.

Conditions of use

• An addition of 1 - 3% of Techniclean MTC 43 is recommended. The amount added depends on the general condition of the coolant system (1% is usually adequate)
• Introduce Techniclean MTC 43 where there is a good coolant movement, e.g. immediately beyond the pump outflow back to the main settling tank, or direct into a velocity trench or floor return channel. This ensures complete mixing with the coolant.
• Add Techniclean MTC 43 8 - 24 hours before the coolant is scheduled to be discarded. The machine tools should then be operated normally for a minimum of eight hours.
• Machine tools, which are not wetted by the emulsion, could be cleaned manually by using a 2 - 3% dilution of Techniclean MTC 43.
• Following this period of circulation (max 24 hours), empty the entire coolant system and machines and dispose of the coolant in accordance with normal work procedures.
• Rinsing with a fresh coolant (about 1%) is recommended.
  

Castrol TECHNICLEAN MP FLEX

Castrol Techniclean MP Flex ™ is an aqueous, alkaline industrial multi-purpose cleaner containing biodegradable surfactants and corrosion inhibitors. The product is free of strong complexing agents.

Application

Techniclean MP Flex is a versatile product, being suited to a very wide range of operations in production engineering, as well as being suitable for virtually all ferrous and non-ferrous metals.

Conditions of use

• Industrial process cleaning in wide range of modern equipment, which includes spray and flood wash as well as dip and ultrasonic applications, capable of removing difficult soils, such as heavy duty neat cutting or forming oils, greasy and waxy corrosion preventive films, lubrication oils and greases, carbon as well as swarf and general workshop grimeApply on the surface, allow time for product to penetrate the soil (5-10 minutes) and rinse off with fresh water or wipe with a rag/paper wipe
  
• Machine tool cleaning of central systems, individual sumps, and other contaminated areas of machine tools. It is suitable for use with all types of soluble metalworking fluids including synthetics. Added to the system on the day before the coolant is due to be discharged will ensure thorough cleaning by the time the entire coolant system is emptied the following day.
  
• General purpose maintenance cleaning on floors, walls and other hard surfaces.
  
• Mass vibratory finishing in conjunction with abrasive stones (MVF).
