Castrol and our customers are experiencing exceptional change. Our once in a generation brand refresh signals that Castrol is set for the future, ready to help our customers thrive as new technologies and ways of working develop. Our new smart packs are evidence of this. They are designed to make it easier for you to find the information that you want, give reassurance that you are purchasing authentic Castrol products and benefit from improved logistical efficiency. The new 5L bottle in Europe now uses 20% less plastic compared to the previous 5L bottle and, in Europe, the new small pack bottles would save 1,000 tonnes of plastic when compared to 2022 sales*
Introducing new small pack bottles across Europe is a major logistical exercise and will take place over an extended period. In order to maximise resources and reduce waste, products may be delivered in boxes with the previous Castrol logo, as will bottle caps while the new Castrol logo is phased in gradually across all packaging across Europe. Product formulations remain the same and you can be sure of the Castrol quality you have come to depend on.
Our new 0.5L, 1L, 4L and 5L bottles have been purposely designed for logistical efficiency and durability. Our new 5L bottle in Europe now uses 20% less plastic compared to the previous 5L bottle and, in Europe, the new small pack bottles would save 1,000 tonnes of plastic when compared to 2022 sales*. New smart packs have a smaller physical footprint meaning more packs per pallet, saved space and more efficient merchandising opportunities.
As part of our drive to simplify our range, we have simplified our product names to reflect a simplified, easy-to-navigate product architecture.
