Castrol launches new AI powered technical support service in multiple languages
Castrol has launched a new, free-of-charge technical support service, allowing workshops and consumers in the UK to interact with a dedicated team of technical specialists trained to provide advice and resolve queries.
The new service will be open to current and prospective Castrol customers, independent and franchised workshops, distributors, retailers, and Castrol Branded Workshops across the UK. It will provide a more tailored and high-quality customer experience, with Castrol’s technical agents available eight hours a day, five days per week at no cost by emailing at UKTechService@castrol.com, or by calling +44 (0)1932 775644.
During a pilot phase for the new technical support service, Castrol’s agents responded to 87% of email enquiries within just 24 hours.
The Castrol technical support service is offered in partnership with Teleperformance, a company that provides omnichannel customer acquisition management, customer care, technical support, and other services. It utilises AI technology to offer a multi-language service, enabling users to contact the technical support team in their native language from across the world, making it fully accessible for all.
“Our products feature highly advanced components and are formulated to provide superior levels of performance, and it is therefore natural that some of our customers and trade partners will want to fully understand the benefits and explore how to get the most from them,” comments Federico Bindi, EMEA Technical Services Manager at Castrol Europe. “The new service is designed to be highly accessible and responsive – consistent with our brand proposition – and we hope that workshops and customers find it beneficial.”
