1. Timing wear 
   Your engine’s timing chain controls the valves that regulate air flow and exhaust. Castrol motor oils are engineered to help protect the timing chain from excessive wear. Because when that timing chain wears, it can disrupt the valves — and reduce power.
2. Dispercancy
   When sludge and engine deposits build up, they can reduce your engine’s efficiency. Castrol motor oils contain dispersants, special additives that help keep contaminants from settling in your engine — and causing that awful sludge.
