Waste Oil Collection program

The Waste Oil Collection Program is a one-stop solution for collecting and re-refining used oil from JLR Retailers. By participating, retailers can spend less time managing lubricants and more time growing their business while supporting a more sustainable lubricants industry in the US. The pilot program starts on November 1, 2024, with Castrol's partner, Safety-Kleen,collecting used oil from participating dealerships.

The program includes:

  • National used oil collection programfor JLR dealers by JLR NA & Castrol supportedby the leading used oil collector in North-America (Safety Kleen)
  • Easy lubes experience for JLR dealers:
    • Simple transactions & transparent central reporting
    • Instant: digitally enabled end to lubes management without manualintervention
    • Worry free: sensor to help optimize working capital, avoid spillsand reduce labor; waste management compliance is ensure
  • No cost for waste oil pick up, filters, or antifreeze
  • Support of the Circular Economy and ensuring used oil is re-refined & not burnt 

         (end of life emissions for baseoil molecules are minimized)
