Castrol VECTON is specifically engineered to deliver longer oil life and enable longer service intervals—even under severe operating conditions. This exceptional diesel oil conforms to the latest engine oil specifications and is available in three viscosity grades.
Castrol VECTON delivers a 45% extra performance reserve* that fights oil breakdown by helping to control oxidation, reduce deposits, and neutralize harmful acids. It also adapts to higher temperatures, which helps to maintain viscosity.
* Average of percentages by which VECTON exceeds the industry standard requirement limits in API CK-4 and ACEA E9-16 engine tests for viscosity maintenance, heat protection, deposit control, minimum oil limits and acid neutralization. In API CK-4 tests only, the VECTON performance reserve is 37%.

Castrol VECTON Long Drain 10W-40 E6/E9
Castrol VECTON Long Drain 10W-40 E6/E9 with System Pro TechnologyTM is an advanced full synthetic heavy duty diesel engine oil for use in highly rated diesel engines meeting Euro I to Euro VI emission requirements. It is suitable for engines with or without particulate filters, for most EGR engines and for most engines fitted with SCR NOx reduction systems. It is strongly recommended for engines fitted with particulate filters and is designed for use in combination with low sulphur diesel fuel.

Castrol VECTON Long Drain 10W-40 E7 with System Pro TechnologyTM is an advanced full synthetic heavy duty diesel engine oil for use in high speed 4-stroke diesel engines that use a broad range of fuel qualities1. It is compatible with diesels engines fitted with exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) systems.
1Not for use in Euro IV/V/VI vehicles requiring low SAPS lubricants. For these applications we recommend Castrol Vecton Long Drain 10W-40 E6/E9
